Executive Director
Executive Director of Schools Greg Whitby immersed in the mission work in the Philippines.

Many schools have held assemblies and celebrations to welcome our pilgrims to Bohol this week. The kindness of the school communities has been overwhelming and demonstrates their gratitude and friendship.

Our pilgrims have actively been taking part in helping the communities they reach.

Pilgrims have been working hard across these projects in Bohol, which have been organised in partnership with the Diocese of Tagbilaran in response to the devastation of the 2013 earthquake.

From Cortes to Loon to Baclayan, pilgrims have been pitching in wherever needed, whether that means teaching English or Maths in the classroom, playing games with the children or helping out with building works.

Pilgrims have also had the chance to reflect on a response and relationship with these school communities based on mercy, love and compassion during morning and evening prayer and evening mass.

Pilgrims have a few days left in Bohol before they start to make their way to Krakow.

An Education Hub
With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), the school will be an educational hub for the Science Park and integrate seamlessly with the life and work of the community. Through the use of shared facilities, business-educational partnerships and collaboration on real-world problems, this ‘thinking’ school will prepare students for the STEM-focused knowledge jobs of the future. Mentoring and internships will allow students to apply their learning to real life situations and pursue tertiary and post school opportunities within and beyond the Science Park.
