The Learning Exchange

Centres for Excellence

The Learning Exchange provides both a physical and virtual presence providing user access to a wide range of high quality resources and programs developed to support innovation and teacher learning in today’s world.

This national partnership will deliver better outcomes for students by improving the quality of teaching and leadership in NSW Catholic schools.

This Centre for Excellence will provide both a physical and virtual presence intended to provide all teachers access to a wide range of high quality resources and programs developed to support innovation and teacher learning in today’s world.

The Centre for Excellence within the Diocese of Parramatta is to be known as the ‘Learning Exchange’.

The Learning Exchange will operate a physical presence including a number of spaces that can be used to support quality teaching. These include a modern library facility incorporating a range of technologies, a multimedia production suite and a learning space set up to provide teachers access to a ‘model’ learning environment where they can work with colleagues on teaching strategies.

This space will also house a state of the art video conferencing system connecting two other Learning Exchange hub schools and the global community. The exchange will operate a research unit and connect with our Indigenous support unit Jarara, housed at the same site.
