TAS Teacher - Industrial Technology (Stage 5) and Design and Technology (Stage 4)

St Clare’s Catholic High School is seeking a teacher with the appropriate skills and experience to teach Technology courses in Stages 4, 5 and 6. The school has expanded to include its first Year 11 in 2019 and experience in teaching any areas of the Stage 6 Technology curriculum would be highly valued. The successful applicant will however, need to be confident teaching Industrial Technology Timber.


The successful applicant will have:
* previous experience teaching Technology courses in Stages 4, 5 & 6;
* previous experience in delivering inquiry based learning experiences (ie. PBL);
* willingness to co-plan, co-teach and co-debrief as part of the PBL instructional experience;
* the ability and willingness to effectively integrate technology into the syllabus;
* the ability to design effective assessment tasks;
* effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team;
* high quality classroom teaching skills which enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential;
* effective classroom practice and management;
* completed their Working with Children Check;
* completed, or be in the process of completing, their classification with CEO Parramatta.
