Join our leadership team in transforming our model of service delivery by developing an innovative and contemporary approach to supporting students with vision impairment!

Criteria

In 2018 Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) will launch a Sensory Resourcing Hub, an integrated wraparound service that will include targeted braille intervention to students through a telepractice mode of delivery. Share your expertise as a member of our Student Services Leadership Team in leading the development of the CEDP Sensory Resourcing Hub and acquiring (or refining) the technical skills required while defining this model to meet student needs.

This would include:
- Designing and delivering contemporary braille pedagogy targeted to Literacy and Numeracy development
- Developing the capacity of school-based support teams to ensure ongoing personalised learning for the student as the intervention is generalised to classroom learning
- Identifying and implementing the required infrastructure for multipoint technology across the Diocese
- Be supportive of the ethos of the Catholic Church

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative practitioner to learn and share best practice with the position attracting a teachers salary + coordinator allowance.
