Description

We are seeking an experienced enthusiastic professional to teach TAS – Computing: Stage 4 Technology Mandatory, Stage 5 Information and Software Technology/Industrial Technology-Multimedia and Stage 6 Industrial Technology Multimedia. St Patrick’s Marist College is a comprehensive 7 -12 Coeducational Catholic School following in the Marist tradition.

Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
• A strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, religious, academic and pastoral dimensions of College life;
• Dynamic and passionate teacher who is able to meet the needs of all learners and a commitment to academic excellence;
• Proven ability to teach Stage 4, 5 & 6 TAS and Computing;
• Previous experience teaching HSC Industrial Technology Multimedia preferable;
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills to work as part of a teaching team;
• Proven ability to implement differentiated learning experiences to meet student personal learning needs;
• The ability and willingness to effectively integrate technology into the syllabus;
• Effective classroom practice and management, utilising a variety of innovative teaching and learning strategies;
• An ability to work in an effective, innovative, creative and collaborative team;
• Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with teachers and leadership teams;
• Completed or in the process of completing classification with the CEDP (Catholic Education Diocese Parramatta);
• A current Working with Children Check
