Description

Criteria

• Be a practising Catholic with a deep understanding of the Catholic tradition and an awareness of its contemporary expression.
• Display a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning.
• Be able to establish a stimulating learning environment.
• Show knowledge and ability in the different learning styles and needs of children.
• Demonstrate highly effective classroom practice and management skills with an understanding and appreciation of PBS4L.
• Have a contemporary understanding of the needs of learners and of the role of the teacher.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current developments in both curriculum and quality learning and teaching.
• Demonstrated capacity to show depth of understanding of learning in English K-6.
• Display a high level of ICT skills and be able to use them to enhance children’s learning.
• Be willing to contribute to the life of our faith learning community beyond the classroom.
• Be creative, energetic, positive and resilient.
