Outdoor Maintenance worker - 20 hours per fortnight

Description

We are seeking a motivated Outdoor Maintenance Worker. This position is for 20 hours for per fortnight working from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm two days per week.

Criteria

The successful applicant will have:

? a willingness to support the ethos of a Catholic School

? well­ developed inter­personal skills helpful, cooperative approach to work requests

? experience working within repair and maintenance roles

? proven ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative to manage the upkeep of the College

? high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multitask
? knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety precautions, stands and practices.

? a current Working With Children Check

? be willing to undertake a medical assessment

Indicative duties may include, but are not limited to:

? collecting and emptying rubbish bins and picking up rubbish after school lunch break
? maintaining the school grounds
? general building and grounds maintenance (painting. patching, basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical (changing bulbs etc.)

? assisting with setup of college events and functions

? managing distribution of deliveries and unpacking of goods and resources

? other duties as directed by the Principal or delegate.
