The system of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta is one of the largest employers in the western Sydney region. Our recruitment, selection and appointment processes reflect the purpose and intent of Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta.

  • TAS Co-ordinator

    We invite applications from suitably qualified teachers to support teaching and learning in the TAS subject area.
    Please note successful applicants must be classified by CEDP and be eligible for NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.

    Our Catholic out of School Hours Care Co-ordinators (COSHC Co-ordinators) are passionate about providing positive environments for our participants within a nurturing community and engaging their teams to provide the best possible out of school hours care.

    Our centres typically open between 6.30am and 6.30pm Monday through Friday.

    Working with the Early Learning and Care Services staff, you'll be joining at a time of growth and building and refining our programs.

    With a particular focus on operating great centres and workplaces, your days will include:
    • the effective day to day leadership of your COSHC and team with a focus on coaching
    • keeping an eye on and ensuring we meet our regulatory obligations e.g. National Quality Framework and keep alive within the centre
    • providing consistent high quality services in a safe and caring environment
    • ensuring the budget is met
    • meeting with families and providing support
    • looking for opportunities for continuous learning and ensuring the culture and values of CEDP are practiced at your centre

    The Assistant Principal is responsible to the Principal and shares in the leadership of a nominated Catholic school community by supporting the principal and leadership team. The Assistant Principal exercises this responsibility by ensuring that the school delivers high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community it serves which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

  • Diversity Team Teacher's Aide (15 hours per week)

    Xavier College, Llandilo
    Xavier College is seeking the assistance of a suitably qualified Teacher Aide to assist with the Learning Enhancement of students in our Junior School (Stage 4 and Stage 5)
    • This is a part-time term-time contract position until the end of Term 3, 2017. The successful applicant must be available to work Monday to Friday each week, between 9:00am and 12 noon, during school term time.
    • Applicants should hold an academic qualification, not necessarily in teaching.
    • Have the ability to support students in secondary Literacy (in particular), as well as general homework assistance.

    The role of the Leader of Learning- English at Xavier College is to ensure that the Catholic mission of the College is supported through the curriculum dimensions of the role. As well as this, the LOL plays a critical role in the leadership and management of the College, through striving for quality learning and the assurance of its delivery in English.
