Support to the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes

The Diocese of Parramatta is providing assistance to the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes in the development and management of their building and maintenance projects.

Geographically, the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes has 18 schools in an area occupying over half of the state of NSW. The 18 systemic schools and 1 non-systemic school in the Wilcannia-Forbes area educates approximately 2,500 students.

The Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes has submitted applications for each of its 18 schools in the Primary Schools for the 21st Century program and National School Pride program. 

The Diocese of Parramatta had provided direct project support to lodge all Building the Education Revolution (BER) applications. The Primary Principal's Association has also hosted a number of school principals from the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes who visited a number of primary schools in the Parramatta diocese to experience first hand the strategic direction on contemporary learning spaces.
