Westmead Catholic Community is seeking input from its members, the community and key stakeholders across the community to shape the planning and design of the project.

Planning for the Westmead Catholic Community, Darcy Road site is in its early stages and planning will occur in two phases. The first phase of the Westmead Catholic Community project - new Parish and primary school facilities and a Catholic Early Learning Centre - is set to open in 2024.

The second phase of the Westmead Catholic Community project, new facilities at Catherine McAuley Westmead and Parramatta Marist High School and other complementary and community facilities, is set to open at a later date.

Westmead Catholic Community Advisory panel

The advisory panel provides advice to the Diocese and the project team on planning for the Westmead Catholic Community. It is one mechanism to ensure that planning reflects quality input from a range of members of the community.

The panel plays an advisory role in considering the future options and considerations for Westmead Catholic Community. The advisory panel is not be a decision-making body.

The process is designed to bring together a range of people with a diversity of views from a broad cross section of the community, to discuss and provide guidance on options for the precinct. The advisory panel is not intended to be statistically representative of the community nor does it represent the project team. The advisory panel provides input and consideration into proposed masterplan options.
