Applying for support

Eligibility for support

Families whose income is solely reliant or more than 80% reliant on Centrelink payments may be eligible for full school fee relief.

All of the following criteria must apply for a family to be eligible:

  1. A family’s income is solely reliant or substantially reliant (>80%) on Centrelink payments
  2. The family is living in subsidised housing (either Department of Housing, community housing or subsidised private rental)
  3. The Parents/Carers hold a Health Care Card - the Low-Income Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC)
  4. The Parents/Carers supply a completed and signed Centrelink Customer Consent Form.
How to apply for support

If you meet the eligibility criteria, simply sign a Centrelink Customer Consent form and send it to SFLU@parra.catholic.edu.au. This form grants the CSPD School Fees Liaison Unit the ability to verify your family’s Centrelink benefits at any time in the future (as long as the family has current students in a CSPD school).

This is easier for families, as the Application for School Fees Assistance form and supporting documents are not required.

Centrelink Customer Consent Form

Your local CSPD school can provide the Centrelink Customer Consent form, or it can be downloaded here.

If you do not wish to complete a Centrelink Customer Consent form you will need to provide a completed Application for School Fees Assistance and supporting documents on an annual basis to receive fee relief.

If you need help filling out this form or have any questions about School Fees Assistance, please contact the CSPD School Fees Liaison Unit on 02 9840 5798 (select Option 1).
