VIEW GALLERYARTiculate 2022 serves as a platform to showcase exemplary artwork produced by HSC Visual Arts students within Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese.
The Articulate showcase 2022 celebrates the efforts of both our students and their teachers across the diocese by including an inspiring collection encompassing all expressive forms. The included Body of Works have been selected and submitted by class teachers and catalogues a diverse range of expressive forms and ideas. Each work is a testament to the creativity and talent of our students and an excellent resource inspiring others to explore their own artistic potential.
The Articulate Online Gallery also acknowledges the dedication and professionalism of the teachers and the support and commitment of the school community.

St Columba's Catholic College, Springwood Year 12 student Siobhan π·ββ joined the Multiplex π§πJump Start Trades Program (Electrical Workshop) at Western Sydney International Airport π©βlast week. Following a site walk of the new terminal, she learned about electrical wiring, π terminating a light fitting π‘and making sure the job was done right by plugging it in and testing it out. β‘ What a great opportunity! ππ€©

"Gilroy Day" was celebrated in style at Gilroy Catholic College Castle Hill last week as the school held the official opening and blessing of beautiful new facilities! ππ« Bishop Vincent was joined by a number of special guests including Hills Shire Council Mayor Peter Gangemi, Councillor Jessica Brazier (representing the State Member for Castle Hill Mark Hodges MP), CSPD Board member Emeritus Professor Marea Nicholson, Deputy Executive Director of Schools and Director Learning Christine Howe OAM, principals from neighbouring schools, architects, builders and parents. π Led by Principal Cheryl Merryweather, the event was followed by a whole of school celebration with food stalls and activities including students and staff taking part in a Walkathon to raise money for Jesuit Refugee Services and the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. π #cspd2023 #catholicschoolsparramattadiocese #parracatholic #westernsydney #bluemountainsnsw #parramatta #hawkesbury #castlehill @gilroycathcoll

New Principal leads on innovation
Since its foundation in 2017 St Lukeβs Catholic College Marsden Park has been at the forefront of innovative education. Catering to students from preschool through to Year 12 and post school pathways, St Lukeβs was recently named as an awardee and finalist for the Excellence Award for Innovation in Curriculum Design at the Australian Education Awards.

Did you know that some of our young Aboriginal students from St Agnes CHS Rooty Hill and St Clare's Catholic High School got to be part of the NRL Indigenous Round last Saturday? π€πβ€οΈπ They were offered the special opportunity offered by Muggera Dance to perform a welcome dance and another cultural dance at halftime during the West Tigers (Dharawal and Eora) vs Cowboys (Wulgurukabah and Bindal) game at Leichhardt Oval (Home of the Wann-gal People). ππ€© The students needed to learn a new dance in two days before performing in front of a large crowd and also on live-streamed television. π²πΊπ #cspd2023 #catholicschoolsparramattadiocese #parracatholic #westernsydney #bluemountainsnsw #parramatta #hawkesbury #rootyhill #hassallgrove #nrl #nrlindigenousround @stagnesrootyhill @stclareshassallgrove

πNational Simultaneous Storytime is always such fun day for our schools, especially when teachers come in dressed as sloths! π Students from across the Diocese joined 2 million students from around Australia last week as they came together to read the heartwarming book "The Speedy Sloth" by Rebecca Young and Heath McKenzie.
