It's harrowing to think of a young person battling cancer๐ฅ, let alone one of our littlest learners as was the case for Holy Family Primary Luddenham Kindy student Nicholas who is thankfully on the road to recovery after treatment for leukaemia.๐โค๏ธโ๐ฉน The way the Holy Family school community rallied around little Nicholas๐๐ and his family and supported them throughout his treatment is truly heartwarming. They recently held a special morning tea to mark the end of Nicholas' treatment๐ฅ with all money raised going to Camp Quality which offers cancer support specifically for children aged up to 15 years.๐๐ซถ๐คฒ Nicholas and his family bravely want to tell their story to help other families going through a similar thing. This story featured in last week's Western Weekender newspaper.๐ฐ๐
