The Parramatta Diocese Catholic Primary School Sports Council (PDCPSSC) provides opportunities for primary students in the diocese to participate in representative teams in a range of sports. All primary students from 8 - 13 years of age are eligible to participate and represent in their school and diocese in the sports of Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country.

The Parramatta Diocese Secondary Schools Sports Council (PDSSSC) provides the avenue for secondary students across the diocese to experience most individual and team sports. Depending on ability, students can also compete in the weekly inter-school sports afternoon or trial for teams/squads to compete against other Catholic schools students across NSW.

PDSSSC Teams Tennis Open Boys and Girls School Teams Gala Day and Selection Trial
at Parramatta Tennis Centre, Parramatta
The PDSSSC is running a Teams Tennis Selection Trial at the ParramattaTennis Centre, Barton St, Parramatta. The Teams Selection event requires teams of 4 players of the same gender from the same school. Students MUST be in Years 7-11 to compete. Year 12 students cannot play at this event. The day will commence with registration at 8.00am and the first games will commence at 8.30am sharp. The event will hopefully conclude by around 2pm. The winning team will represent the Parramatta Diocese at the NSWCCC Tennis Teams Championships held on 1st September in Bathurst.

Students in NSW Catholic Schools are eligible to trial for Secondary All Schools Boys 15 Years & Under Netball Pathway Program, an initiative of the School Sport Unit. A selection trial will be held on Friday, 20 June at Netball Central, giving students from all three NSW education sectors the chance to earn a spot on the NSW All Schools team. The selected team will represent NSW All Schools at the School Sport Australia Boys 15 & Under Netball Championship in Queensland from 26 July – 1 August 2025. 🌟 👦 Who can register? Secondary school boys aged 15 years and under who are not turning 16 in 2025. 💵 Cost: $10 per student – payable during registration. Urgent Update - Girls RUGBY LEAGUE- UPDATE from CSNSW via email. Venue Change for 16’s & 18’s Girls NSWCCC Rugby League Trials Good Morning Parents and Carers, Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have worked to secure an alternate venue for the 16’s and 18’s Girls NSWCCC Rugby League Trials. Due to ongoing poor weather conditions, all grounds in the Hunter and Central Coast region are closed. Despite exhausting all venue options in this area, the forecast predicts continued and worsening rain. In light of this, we have made the difficult decision to relocate the trials to a venue outside the current rain band to ensure players have the best opportunity to get on the field. We acknowledge that this change will inconvenience and impact many families, and we sincerely apologise for the disruption to your plans. We are very mindful of the financial and time commitment this places on families, as well as the effect on staff and students. After careful consideration of all factors – including families who have already travelled to Cessnock and those yet to depart – the following decisions have been made: Monday 19 May: All scheduled training and games are cancelled. Tuesday 20 May: Trials will proceed with a modified format and later kick-off time to support travelling families. We are pleased to confirm the new venue: Kirkham Oval Camden Valley Way, Elderslie NSW 2570 We are currently working on the updated plan for tomorrow’s trials. In the meantime, we encourage you to contact your team manager if you have any concerns, so these can be taken into account in the revised schedule. PARRAMATTA DIOCESAN CROSS COUNTRY 2025 Tuesday13th May 2025 Sydney Motorsports Park (Eastern Creek Raceway), Ferrers Rd, Eastern Creek Entry via gate A (refer to Venue Map) PARKING Please allow additional time to ENTER the venue, PARK, and WALK to the grandstand, this could take up to 30 minutes WALK THE COURSE OPEN - 8:50am CLOSED - 9:00am *No student will be permitted on the course at this time unless supervised by a school/teacher representative. *Teachers/Age Managers are to supervise their school team during the Walk the Course.
