As well as PDHPE and sport within schools, representative opportunities are offered to students through the Primary and Secondary sports councils, who are responsible for the provision of opportunities for students to participate in representative teams for a variety of sports.

The Parramatta Diocese Catholic Primary School Sports Council (PDCPSSC) provides opportunities for primary students in the diocese to participate in representative teams in a range of sports. All primary students from 8 - 13 years of age are eligible to participate and represent in their school and diocese in the sports of Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country.

The Parramatta Diocese Secondary Schools Sports Council (PDSSSC) provides the avenue for secondary students across the diocese to experience most individual and team sports. Depending on ability, students can also compete in the weekly inter-school sports afternoon or trial for teams/squads to compete against other Catholic schools students across NSW.

NSW All Schools Swimming and Diving Championships

NSW All Schools Swimming and Diving Championships
at SOPAC (Aquatic Centre)
The NSW All Schools Swimming Championships is held annually. Swimmers from CCC, CHS and CIS compete for a place in the NSW team that will compete at School Sport Australia to be held at a date and Venue TBA The first 3 placed swimmers from all events at the NSWCCC Carnival proceed through to represent NSW Combined Catholic Colleges at the NSW All Schools Carnival held in June each year at SOPAC. The 200m events in all strokes as well as 400m freestyle, 200IM and 400IM are all swum in Junior, Intermediate and Senior division categories. There is also open 800m and 1500m freestyle for boys and girls swum at this level. There will also be a 100m Backstroke for MultiClass swimmers at this event. (These events - 400m IM, 200m Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly, 800m and 1500m freestyle, as well as the 100m Backstroke MultiClass competitors are chosen from times submitted via an online google form earlier in the year) All NSWCCC swimmers are asked to report to a team manager in the grandstand at least 1 hour before their first scheduled event of the day.

at St Mary's Rugby League Club
PDSSSC are one of 6 Association teams at the NSWCCC Rugby League selection trial. Players have been selected in the Parramatta or Metro team at a selection trial in March or April for this event. Players are asked to be present at the ground at least 1 hour before their first scheduled game.
