The Parramatta Diocese Catholic Primary School Sports Council (PDCPSSC) provides opportunities for primary students in the diocese to participate in representative teams in a range of sports. All primary students from 8 - 13 years of age are eligible to participate and represent in their school and diocese in the sports of Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country.

The Parramatta Diocese Secondary Schools Sports Council (PDSSSC) provides the avenue for secondary students across the diocese to experience most individual and team sports. Depending on ability, students can also compete in the weekly inter-school sports afternoon or trial for teams/squads to compete against other Catholic schools students across NSW.

The NSWCCC Touch Championships / Selection trial will be held on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th April at the Central Coast Regional Sports Complex. Players representing the PDSSSC were selected earlier at selection trials held in November 2024. This event is held in 4 divisions - 15 Years Boys and Girls Open Boys and Girls. Players selected in the NSWCCC Touch teams after this event will represent NSWCCC in June, for the 15 Years teams and at the National Touch League event in September for the Open teams.

In western Sydney, two high schools have become certified champion factories for NRL clubs. Churning out players for 15 of the NRL’s 17 clubs, Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown and Westfields Sports High School in Fairfield West educated 52 players in the current competition, and their playing fields are teeming with future stars.
