Isaiah Armstrong gets his big celebrity moment.
St Finbar's Primary Glenbrook rolled out the red carpet to welcome their superstar students for the start of the 2024 school year.
Children got to experience the glitz and glamour of the red carpet before getting stuck into some great learning.
Some of the fun novelties on the day included a picture frame for students to pose behind for selfies, baloons, and red carpet interviews conducted by Mrs Alicia Borg.

Teachers Mrs Natalie Platt and Mrs Ashleigh Armstrong tried out the picture frame themselves as well
The school's principal, Mrs Robyn Clarke, even took a trip down the red carpet herself at one point, accompanied by two students.
School resumed for the year on Thursday, February 1

It's Walk Safely to School Day๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐ถโโ๏ธ so it was lovely that so many students, parents and staff got to enjoy a great morning walking to school. Jarara Cultural Centre is an integral part of how we share culture, build capacity and provide pastoral care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families. A number of our schools also have dedicated yarning spaces, cultural groups and inclusive Aboriginal Cultural Programs. An understanding of Aboriginal spirituality is incorporated into Religious Education programs, prayer and liturgy. The Jarara Cultural Centre interacts with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families from across the Diocese.

This is INCREDIBLE... he's just a teenager and yet recent graduate from St John XXIII Catholic College Sebastian Sultana will be representing Australia๐ฆ๐บ at the Paris Olympics.๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ We've been following Sebastian's incredible athletics success for many many years, culminating in him winning the Australian 100m National title๐ recently which he followed up by being part of the Men's 4 x 100m relay team that just booked their place for Paris.๐คฉ The team of Sultana, Jacob Despard, Calab Law and Josh Azzopardi secured their spot by finishing second at the World Athletics Relays 24 in the Bahamas. โCongratulations Sebastian... our entire CSPD community will be cheering you on in Paris and for many years to come.โก๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐จ
